Behaviour in the Workplace

This is a two hour interactive training experience designed for all employees as an ‘eye opener’ to show how your actions in the workplace can affect your co workers around you in a way you may have never expected. The programme is delivered using a legally qualified facilitator and two professional actors. The actors will role play various office scenarios and the participants are invited to interview the actors in character and question their behaviour. This programme demonstrates the implications of inappropriate behaviour, raises awareness of employment legislation, identifies any litigation risk, highlights the possibility of personal as well as corporate liability and covers all areas of discrimination including direct and indirect discrimination.

Email Etiquette

Email and its use have become a central element of all business practices. In this day and age who doesn’t use email? As they have become more central, the effective, courteous, and “compliant” use of email has become more difficult, but also hugely important. Learning how to use and compose email properly will save your company time, make your employees more efficient and knowledgeable on the effects of email etiquette.

Fast Effective Reading

A one day intensive programme designed to double, or even in some cases, treble reading speeds and help to increase retention levels. It has exercises, examples and techniques to identify each individual’s bad habits and teach them how to abolish them forever! This programme has been delivered to a number of clients across various sectors and in most instances pilots have been successfully held, which has led to this course being added onto training curriculums. A substantial number of our clients include this at the beginning of their Graduate Training Programme to help and encourage their new joiners through the large amount of reading or studying they are required to do when joining the company.

The Business Board Game Challenge

360 Consulting and Inspirational Finance are working together to showcase a product called the Business Board Game Challenge. The Business Board Game encourages the application of financial, analytical and decision making skills and allows delegates to manage a company in a highly competitive environment.

The BBG is hands on, enjoyable and competitive, you will be surprised at how much can actually be accomplished using this simple concept and we can guarantee that the level of commercial and financial awareness skills your employees currently have will be enhanced over a very short period of time.

The Business Board Game creates an environment where the participants work together in teams – each team is then required to form their own “company”. The teams need to analyse markets, determine a coherent strategy and develop sales, purchasing and production plans and finally win the contracts to put these into place. They then implement these plans in direct competition with other teams. As each “company” makes decisions, just as you would in the real world, market forces take shape, forcing each team to make competitive, strategic, financial, operational, marketing, production and sales decisions.

Cash flow, P&L, balance sheets, bidding for contracts, loans, credit management, these are a few of the real life elements the game has. In order to gain understanding of working capital cycles every decision made by the team has its own outcome due to the fore thought (or lack of it) and how this affects the business. Be it as an introduction to business, a finance-for-non-finance professionals instrument, a dynamic and comprehensive team building exercise or simply as a tool for increasing commercial awareness the business board game is a complete package for business development and has certainly proven to be one training programme that cannot be simply defined as ‘just a game’.
